It is a completely self-paced journey where your child becomes a history detective, searching for clues, exploring vibrant designs, and building a spectacular personal treasury.

How the Treasure Hunt Works

Getting started is simple, affordable, and completely pressure-free. Here is how you can jump into the adventure today:

Choose Your Style & Print: At the bottom of this article, you will find two free downloadable PDFs. For the kids, we have designed a colorful Treasure Map to write in their finds. If you prefer to save on printer ink, we also have a clean, text-based Official Explorer Checklist just for you!
Upon request, I can also mail out a blank treasure map printed on parchment paper with the reward package you can later fill out.

Explore at Your Own Pace: There is absolutely no rush or high-pressure sales here. Sit down with your child and browse our inventory together to find the target notes. They will be searching for 11 unique milestones, including a note printed before 1970, a note featuring an African animal, a custom-designed Fantasy Note, and even a banknote from a country they have never heard of before.
Use the Parent Cheat Sheet: We want this to be accessible and budget-friendly for every family. Parents can click our Secret Parent Hint Page to see specific low budget-friendly banknotes for all 11 categories on our site. These are only samples though and you can explore to find other samples at varying prices. That is the great thing about the hobby as it fits all budgets and topical interests.
Customize the Quest: We've included three blank "Custom Swap" spaces on the Explorer download, if you want to swap 3 of the map ones write them on the back of the page. If your child wants to change the rules, they can swap out a target to collect something entirely unique to their interests—like their favorite animal, a specific color, or a unique pattern—and write down their reason why!
