🍁 This is a limited cover that is printed on contract with Canada Post for a Special event.
Founded as a provisional battalion of infantry in 1871, the 12e Régiment blindé du Canada had soldiers deployed in the First World War and earned numerous battle honours during the Second World War as an armoured unit. Since its reintegration into the Regular Force in 1968, the Regiment endeavours to follow its motto "Adsum" - present - at home and abroad.
The cover has a special stamp (non regular issue) that is part of the prestamped envelope.
