Reverse: Displays a hydroelectric dam, representing Afghanistan's infrastructure development aspirations, with decorative border elements and denomination value.
The Afghanistan 100 Afghanis (P-58c) from 1991 is a compelling piece of modern Afghan history, issued during the Taliban era by Da Afghanistan Bank. The hydroelectric dam reverse is a striking and historically meaningful design. Uncirculated examples of this series are increasingly difficult to find and make a strong addition to any Central Asian or world banknote collection.
