DETAILS:

 

Obverse: Features the portrait of General José de San Martín and the denomination "1 Peso Argentino" with text in Spanish. Issued by the Banco Central de la República Argentina in 1983. This is Signature Variety 2 of the P311 issue.

 

Reverse: Displays a scenic lake landscape with decorative border elements and denomination value in numerals and text.

 

The Argentina 1 Pesos Argentinos (P311) was issued in 1983 during the final year of military rule in Argentina. The Peso Argentino replaced the Peso in 1983 and was itself replaced by the Austral in 1985.
