DETAILS:
Obverse: The coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus alongside the National Bank name and denomination in Belarusian. Issued in 1992 as part of the first banknote series of independent Belarus following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
Reverse: A Eurasian Lynx with her cub — one of the most captivating wildlife scenes in the entire 1992 Belarusian series. The mother-and-cub depiction gives this note a warmth and visual appeal that stands out among animal banknotes. The Eurasian Lynx is native to the forests of Belarus and is one of Europe's largest wild cats, elusive and rarely seen in the wild.
The Lynx with cub is widely considered the most visually striking note in the 1992 Belarusian animal series and tends to be a favourite with wildlife topical collectors.
