Obverse:
Features a portrait of Marco Aurelio Soto, the Honduran coat of arms, Spanish text and the denomination. Dated 17 April 2008, with the signatures of Araque, Oviedo and Santos.
Reverse:
Features Tiger Island (Isla del Tigre) and the port city of Amapala, with buildings and boats along the waterfront. Spanish text identifies the location where Dr. Soto inaugurated his government.
