Obverse: Features Arabic text alongside the ancient Roman theater and archway of the main gate in Bosra — one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A concave hexadecagon serves as a registration device, with the denomination 100 displayed in both Arabic and Western numerals. Signed by Yaghi/Karfoul (Signature 20), dated 2021.
Reverse: Depicts the Dome of the Treasury at the Umayyad Mosque and the Central Bank of Syria headquarters building in Damascus, alongside an ancient coin and a stylized fan ornament. English text reads "Central Bank of Syria" and "One Hundred Syrian Pounds." Features a windowed holographic security thread and a concave hexadecagon registration device.
Printed by Goznak (Russia) on paper, this 140 x 65 mm note showcases Syria's extraordinary ancient heritage. The watermark features an Arabian horse head and the electrotype numeral 100.
