Obverse: Features Zabid Castle, a historic fortification in the ancient city of Zabid in western Yemen. Arabic text with denomination 200 used as a registration device. Orange and black colour scheme. Date 2018.
Reverse: Depicts a hillside landscape in Hauf National Park, Al Mahrah, in eastern Yemen. English text with issuer name "Central Bank of Yemen" and denomination 200. Green windowed security thread with demetalized pattern.
The historic city of Zabid, including its castle, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the capital of Yemen from the 13th to the 15th century.
